VIA Rail, 2024.Train Story celebrates a milestone in VIA Rail’s history: the introduction of brand-new trains, sharing the rails with their trusted predecessors for the first time.
Approached as an endearing homage to Pixar’s Toy Story, this live-action film tell the story of Andrea, a devoted train enthusiast whose cherished bond with her beloved old model train is tested when a sleek new model enters the picture.
The narrative centers on the old train’s fear of being replaced. However, Andrea’s only wish is for both trains to coexist in harmony. The magic unfolds when she leaves the room: the two trains come to life. As the old train steps aside to let the newcomer take the lead on the track, it becomes clear that there’s space for both in this unfolding chapter.
A new era of travel begins.
